  • Designed exclusively for adults 60 years and over, our Senior Strength classes focus on building strength, improving stability, and maintaining mobility — all in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.

    Every 45-minute session is guided by experienced trainers who specialise in working with older adults. No two classes are the same — you’ll enjoy a variety of movements and functional exercises tailored to your ability, with plenty of modifications to ensure you feel confident and cared for.


    Whether your goal is to stay active, improve balance, or simply enjoy moving with others in a friendly small-group setting, Senior Strength 65+ will help you build confidence, energy, and independence to support everyday life.

  • A powerful and dynamic yoga flow designed to build strength from the inside out. This class blends traditional vinyasa movement with optional light weights to enhance muscle tone, endurance, and stability. Expect a seamless combination of strength training, mindful breathwork, and flowing sequences that challenge your body while supporting mobility and balance. You’ll leave feeling grounded, energised, and confidently strong. This class is suitable for all fitness levels

  • A supportive fusion of strength training, Pilates-based core work, and yoga-inspired mobility - designed for pre and postnatal parents, or any caregiver wanting to move with their little one by their side.

    This mat-based class focuses on rebuilding deep core strength, improving posture, and developing functional strength to support everyday parenting. Expect low-impact, thoughtfully programmed movement including glute and lower body strength, upper body endurance, and controlled mobility work with clear modifications offered throughout.

    Whether your baby is resting nearby or your toddler is sitting close, this is your space to reconnect with your body without the stress of organising childcare.

    Parents are welcome to hold their child if needed during the session.

    Spots are limited to ensure a safe and comfortable space for parents and little ones.

    Arrival & Set Up

    The studio will open at 10:20am to allow time to settle your little one, position prams or mats, and get comfortable before we begin.

    Class will start promptly at 10:30am.

    Child Safety Guidelines

    • Babies must remain safely positioned in a pram, bouncer, bumbo, or on a mat beside you.

    • Toddlers are welcome but must be able to sit and play quietly nearby (as best as toddlers can).

    • Children must remain close to their parent and not move freely around the studio during class.

    Important Information

    While our coaches will assist where possible, each child remains the responsibility of their parent or caregiver at all times. By attending, you acknowledge that The Move Room and its instructors are not liable for the supervision or safety of children during the session.

    This class is the starting point for building strong, efficient movement that carries into every other class on the timetable. Whether you’re new to training or looking to refine the basics, Build Basics gives you the tools to move well for training and life.

    Across both Build Basics and Build +, the focus is on learning personalised and modified versions of fundamental movement patterns so that training works with your body, not against it. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, you are coached to understand how squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, lunging, and carrying should feel and function for you as an individual.

    The sessions help you recognise when it’s appropriate to push and when it’s smarter to pull back slightly. This develops better decision-making inside training, allowing you to adapt your own sessions based on how they feel on the day, what stressors you might be carrying from outside the gym, and how your body is responding.

    In simple terms, Build gives you more tools for your training toolbox. It prepares you for the many variables you could bring into each session, whether that’s fatigue, work stress, poor sleep, soreness, or high energy. Instead of guessing or forcing sessions to look a certain way, you learn how to adjust intelligently while still training with purpose.

    Build Basics establishes these skills through foundational movement and technique. Build + develops them further through more complex, demanding movement and higher-level strength work. Together, they create confident, capable bodies who can train hard when it’s right to do so and train smart when it’s not.

  • Absolutely! Our classes are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced. Our instructors will guide you and provide modifications as needed.

  • We require at least 12 hours' notice for class cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

  • Yes, with clearance from your doctor, you can definitely participate in our classes.

    Although we do not provide pre and post natal specific classes, we offer tailored modifications and support to guide you safely and effectively through your pre and post natal journey. Please note: Immediately before and after delivery, there will be limitations and possibly exemptions to ensure your health and safety. Our goal is to help you stay strong, flexible, and healthy during this important time.
